Aaron Fodge with CSU would like to express his gratitude for Larimer County's support of the Phemister Bridge and Trail Project. The project agreement between Larimer County and CSU is on the consent agenda on April 18, 2023.
Staff have advocated with sponsors, proponents, and through both commissioners’ associations for amendments to the introduced bill. Those efforts have been unsuccessful, and the bill as introduced will have significant implications for Larimer County.
Larimer County Clerk and Recorder Angela Myers is retiring on May 31, 2023, and as a result the office of Larimer County Clerk and Recorder will become vacant on June 1, 2023. The vacancy of the office will extend through the end of Clerk Myers’ current term of office which runs through the end of 2026. Under Colorado law the Board of County Commissioners is tasked with appointing a person to fill the vacancy until the next general election in 2024, at which time a person will be elected to fill the remainder of the vacancy through the end of Clerk Myers’ term.
