Item #4 - COMMERCIAL CORRIDORS AND CENTERS LAND USE CODE UPDATES

The purpose of this item is to consider updates to the City’s Land Use Code related to commercial corridors and centers. Staff seek a recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission that City Council approve these updates to the Land Use Code. These Land Use Code updates implement policy direction in City Plan, the Housing Strategic Plan, and Our Climate Future.
Item #5 - TREE MITIGATION POLICY

The purpose of this item is to consider updates to the City’s Land Use Code related to tree policies in Division 5.10 Landscaping and Tree Protection. Staff seek a recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission that City Council approve these updates to the Land Use Code. These updates support previous and current Council Priorities as well as align with policy improvement opportunities identified through the Urban Forest Strategic Planning effort and code audit.
